The EG4 GridBOSS 200A MID is an advanced power management gateway and micro-grid interconnection device designed to simplify the installation and operation of modern energy storage systems. With a 200A service entrance rating, the GridBOSS combines the functions of multiple system components into one centralized unit, helping reduce installation complexity, wiring, equipment requirements, and overall project costs. The GridBOSS operates at 120/240V AC and 60Hz and supports a maximum continuous current of 200A. It features three inverter ports, supporting up to 70A per port, and is compatible with EG4 12kPV, EG4 18kPV, and EG4 FlexBOSS21 inverters. Four programmable smart load ports provide additional flexibility, with maximum continuous current ratings of 125A, 80A, 60A, and 60A per port, depending on the connection. For enhanced system visibility and management, the GridBOSS provides real-time monitoring and remote communication through RS485, CANBus, and WiFi. Its 350A internal busbar and 315A internal fuse provide robust power management, while the system is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°F to 140°F (-40°C to 60°C) and relative humidity levels from 0–100%. The IP14/NEMA 3R protection rating makes it suitable for appropriate indoor and protected outdoor installations.
