Mary's Lane Garnet Red

A stroll down the lane, a picnic, and a glass of wine - what else do you need on a lazy summer's day? Our Mary's Lane "Vin de Picnic" wines are perfect if that's your ideal day too! Deep red almandine garnets are found in trace quantities, eroded through glacial activity, and deposited in the sandy moraines found throughout Essex County. In keeping with the geological nature of our Mary’s Lane wines, our Garnet is a blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a trace of Merlot. While we love a ‘serious’ red wine as much as the next wine geek, but sometime you just want to unwind with a wine that is just ‘fun’. Our Garnet Red was bottled just for that moment – all fruit and no oak. Chill it a bit, open it up, and then sit back and enjoy the afternoon.
