(Reichsnährstand Landesbauernschaft Bayern Ehrenzeichen für 40 Jahre treue Dienste). Constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from a period replacement ribbon, the obverse bearing a raised Reichsnährstand insignia, the reverse bearing a central inscription of “FUER 40 JAHRE TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR 40 YEARS OF FAITHFUL SERVICE”, circumscribed by an inscription of “REICHSNÄHRSTAND LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT BAYERN” executed in a stylized runic script, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), demonstrating moderate loss of finish in addition to the loss of its original oak leaf suspension clasp, in very fine condition.
