Gembrook Hill Chardonnay 2025
Elegant and sophisticated. Delicate notes of nectarine, pristine white peach, citrus, and creamed honey intertwine with hints of spiced cedarwood. Its vibrant presence exudes vitality and charm, while the remarkable length of the finish distinguishes its exceptional quality. Indeed, this wine exemplifies precision and finesse, embodying an impeccable balance of attributes. In 1983, Ian and June Marks discovered their vineyard site after an extensive search spanning nearly every wine region in Victoria. Situated with views of Mt Donna Buang, framed by the Warburton ranges, boasting red soil, and benefiting from a coveted north-easterly aspect, it proved to be an ideal location for cool climate winemaking. Gembrook Hill emerged as a pioneer among the 'second wave' of Yarra Valley vignerons, and today stands as one of the oldest vineyards in the Upper Yarra sub-region.
