François Carillon is a grower-producer in Puligny-Montrachet, working fruit from the premier cru climat Les Champ Gain on the southern flank of the appellation, bordering Chassagne. The domaine was established when François split from the family estate, and the wines are made with the precision and restraint that defines serious Puligny. Expect the hallmarks of the appellation: cool minerality, ripe citrus and white stone fruit, fine acidity, and a textured, saline finish with real length.
