Ukiyoye Kanbara Takasuke Kyusu Teapot

A scene from the ukiyo-e print Snow at Kanbara is rendered in white against a green clay body. Set against the subdued green, the figures traveling through Kanbara—an old post town on the Tōkaidō as it appeared around 200 years ago—stand out with striking clarity.
