Bubb + Pooley Syrah 2022

Crafted from premium vineyards in Tasmania's Tamar Valley and Coal River Valley, the Bubb + Pooley Syrah 2022 is an elegant cool-climate red that showcases purity, finesse and regional character. A blend of 93% Syrah and 7% whole-bunch Viognier, it spent 20 days on skins before maturing for 10 months in French oak puncheons, creating a beautifully textured and refined wine. Bright aromas of blackberry, blueberry and dark cherry are layered with cracked black pepper, violets and subtle spice. The palate is vibrant and silky, offering fresh dark berry fruit, savoury complexity and fine, persistent tannins that lead to a long, balanced finish. A natural match for roast lamb, duck, mushroom dishes or chargrilled vegetables, this cool-climate Tasmanian Syrah is drinking beautifully now and will continue to develop over the next 5–7 years.
