Ficus 'Sabre' (Sabre Tooth Fig) - 25cm pot

One of the most beautiful figs around, Ficus Sabre is an elegant, hardy option for those wanting an indoor tree. If you have heard us talk about it in-store, it's the indoor gum tree! Not related to eucalyptus, but becuase of it's striking resemblance to a Lemon Scented Gum. Slower growing than their cousins Ficus Alli, and much wider leaves than f. Longifolia, f. Sabre has a more weeping habit too. They will need to be potted up roughly every 2 years. Allow to dry between watering and keep in well-draining potting mix. Not fussy with light, will grow faster in a well lit position. Available in 25cm plastic nursery pot, and approximately 100cm tall including the pot. We do our very best to photograph each new batch of plants that come in, taking care that the plant pictured here is an accurate representation of the current stock on hand. Please also note, as is the nature of living things, there may be some slight variation in leaf shape, placement etc, they are living plants after all!
