Stop RO/DI Floods Once and For All Automatically Shuts Off Your RO/DI System Installs or Uninstalls in Seconds Magnetic Mount Means No Holes or Drilling Dual Optical Eye for Added Safety The AutoAqua RO/DI Flood Guardian is an easy and reliable way to help prevent accidental and damaging overflows when filling reservoirs, mixing containers, or ATO systems. Once the water level reaches the optical sensor, the controller instantly signals the included solenoid valve to shut off the flow of water, so even if you forgot you were making RO/DI water, you won't walk into a mess. Instead of drilling holes or permanently mounting a float valve, the Flood Guardian uses a magnetic dual optical sensor that attaches to containers in seconds and can quickly be moved from one container to another as needed. The dual optical eye design adds an extra layer of safety and reliability compared to traditional single-sensor systems, giving you even more peace of mind. Additionally, the solenoid's default position is closed, so even if there is a power outage, you won't run into RO/DI overflow problems. Optical Sensor Installation The optical sensor can be mounted on any reservoir with a wall thickness less than 1/2". The cable should be positioned vertically, which will stack the optical eyes, allowing it to utilize the dual sensors. The sensor will work in both light and dark conditions. Solenoid Valve Installation RO/DI System without an Auto Shut Off Valve The solenoid valve should be placed between your RO/DI system's pre-filters and the membrane. It is important to place the solenoid after sediment filters to remove any particulates that could clog the solenoid valve over time. Installing the valve before your RO/DI system can cause the solenoid valve to fail prematurely. RO/DI System with an Auto Shut Off Valve The solenoid valve can be placed anywhere between your DI stage and water reservoir. Your RO/DI system's auto shut off valve will stop waste water from running when the Flood Guardian's solenoid valve is closed. Tip: Ensure the flow of water follows the direction of the arrow on the bottom of the solenoid.
