Summer Road Trip Nail Art Competition (In Person)

LIVE NAIL COMPETITION SUNDAY July 26th, 1:00pm-3:00pm Theme Summer Road Trip Pack your bags and hit the open road! Create a nail art design inspired by the excitement of a summer road trip. Think scenic highways, beach destinations, national parks, roadside attractions, camping adventures, summer treats, sunsets, maps, vintage travel vibes, or any creative interpretation of a summer getaway. Competition Format This is a 120-minute live nail art competition. Competitors will create a cohesive set of 5 nail tips during the competition period. Rules Time Limit Competitors will have 120 minutes (2 hours) to complete their entry. All work must be completed within the competition timeframe. No additional work may be performed after time is called. Entry Requirements Competitors must create 5 coordinating nail tips. All 5 tips should tell a cohesive story and reflect the Summer Road Trip theme. Entries must be completed entirely during the competition. Competitors may use any professional nail products and nail art mediums. Allowed Materials Gel products Acrylic products Hand-painted artwork Chrome and pigments Foils Glitter Rhinestones and embellishments 3D elements Prohibited Pre-painted tips Pre-made nail art elements created by the competitor before the competition Completed design components attached before the start of the competition Outside assistance from spectators or other competitors Judging Criteria Theme Interpretation – 25 Points How effectively the design represents the Summer Road Trip theme. Creativity & Originality – 25 Points Unique concepts, storytelling, and artistic vision. Technical Execution – 25 Points Application quality, detail, cleanliness, and overall craftsmanship. Difficulty & Complexity – 15 Points Level of skill and techniques demonstrated. Overall Presentation – 10 Points Visual impact, cohesiveness, and professional appearance. Total Possible Score: 100 Points Judging Judging will begin immediately following the competition. Judges' decisions are final. Entries will be displayed for attendees to view after judging. Photography Release By entering the competition, participants grant permission for photographs of their work to be used in event marketing, social media, and future promotional materials.
