Emblematic Doorknob Lexington Hotel Colh-555

Rare and highly collectable cast emblematic bronze doorknob P-45340 form the Lexington Hotel Chicago Il. S.Michigan Ave. Hotel was built in 1891-1892 in time for the Columbia Exposition. Hotel was famous for being the residence of Al Capone from july 1928 until his arrest. Building was razed in 1995. Knob in nice condition for it,s age just one ding on the side and hard to notice . Knob takes a 1/4″ spindle.
