E-Commerce module 1: Introduction to Cross-border e-commerce

This course was designed to assist Customs administrations to strengthen their understanding and operational capacity in the cross-border e-commerce environment, drawing on the WCO E-Commerce Package, including the Framework of Standards on Cross-Border E-Commerce and its supporting implementation tools. In this module, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of cross-border e-commerce. You will learn what it is, why it matters for Customs, and how global trends are reshaping the trading environment. This module sets the foundation for what comes next. This course has been made possible with the support of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs of Switzerland (SECO) through the SECO-WCO Global Trade Facilitation Programme (GTFP).
