Antique McCoy Style Pottery Donkey/Burro Planter

Vintage Large Ceramic Donkey / Burro Planter – Brown Drip Glaze – USA Charming vintage ceramic donkey planter featuring a rich, glossy dark brown drip glaze with lighter caramel-colored accents. The donkey has wonderful molded details, including a decorative saddle planter, bridle, raised mane, and dimensional floral ornamentation. This is an impressive larger-size piece, measuring approximately 10½" tall × 10" wide. The underside is impressed/stamped “U.S.A.” on one foot. This form is commonly attributed to McCoy Pottery, although because the piece does not bear a McCoy name or mold number, it is being described as McCoy-style/attributed rather than guaranteed as McCoy. A great piece of vintage American pottery for a collector, or a fun decorative accent for farmhouse, Western, Southwestern, or mid-century décor.
