Stop Fighting Your Stuck Prop Removing a stuck eFoil propeller shouldn't require brute force, improvised tools, or a trip to the shop. We've built two solutions to cover every situation: a universal modified gear puller that works across virtually any eFoil brand, and precision-made removers engineered specifically for EfoilSolutions propellers. Option 1: Universal Modified Gear Puller This is the workhorse. Based on a gear puller design adapted specifically for eFoil propellers, the claws sharpened to seat cleanly in the gap between the propeller and the cone — giving you solid purchase without marring the prop or shaft. Compatible with almost any eFoil brand, as long as the prop has a center bolt or nut. Two-blade or three-blade, it doesn't matter. If you source a standard gear puller online, you'll need to sharpen the claws yourself. This version comes pre-modified and ready to use. Click here to watch the instruction video How to Use It Remove the center nut or bolt (use the brand-specific socket where required) Center the remover over the shaft Position the claws in the gap between the prop and the cone Tighten the remover bolt steadily — keeping all claws seated below the prop throughout Fliteboard & Waydoo EVO: Standard process above — fast and straightforward. Lift: One extra step. Remove the center bolt, thread in a longer M6 bolt, and tighten. The puller then pushes against the longer bolt to break the prop free. Works with folding props too — some riders prefer to remove the blades first and use the bolt pivot holes as leverage (credit: Aleeka). When the Claws Won't Work Some systems — including older Lift props (pre-LCS) and the Waydoo Flyer series — don't have enough gap between the prop and cone for the claws to seat. For these edge cases, a rope-based method can be used as a fallback. Important: If using a rope, engage it at the base of the blades and be mindful of the forces involved. You don't want to bend the blades. This is a last resort, not a first move. Option 2: EfoilSolutions Prop Removers If you're running EfoilSolutions propellers, these are the tools made for them. Each remover is purpose-built to match the exact geometry of our props — no improvising, no adapting, no guesswork. Select your prop model from the variant options below. Available for: Lift, Fliteboard, Waydoo, and Sifly EfoilSolutions propellers.
