Chardwar is a charming, organic, isolated tea estate in the Assam region, bordering the Kaziranga wild life sanctuary. The area is known for the single-horned rhinos, pigmy hogs, langurs, parrots, and hornbills. And, of course, the expertly produced and processed tea. The flavor is rich and malty, with notes of cocoa and candied cherry. Smooth enough to drink alone, bold enough to hold milk. We chose this tea to replace our beloved Satrupa, which is sadly no longer available. We think you'll love this as much as we do.
