Original vintage World War Two industrial work safety and home front production propaganda poster - Accidents Are Bottlenecks Prevent Them - featuring a great design by the notable British graphic designer Pat Keely (Patrick Cokayne Keely; 1901-1970) depicting rope attached to a merchant cargo ship surrounded by cranes inside a green glass bottle lying on its side, a line drawing of an anchor and two starfish on the graph lines in the foreground representing a poorly made ship that has sunk to the bottom of the sea, soft blue clouds above and the bold warning text below. Issued by the Ministry of Labour and National Service and produced by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Printed by Loxley Bros Ltd. Good condition, repaired tears, pinholes, paper loss in top left corner, creasing, staining, backed on linen.
