These forceps are autoclavable, and made with stainless steel type AISI 410. Technical aspects of this coating: Process is PVD (physical vapor deposition), also called thin film or plasma coating. Done under atmospheric controlled high vacuum environment. Material composition is titanium carbide, titanium nitride, titanium oxide. 100% bio-compatible coating, non-toxic, non-hazardous. Coating thickness is 0.5-0.8 micron. Sold singly.
