The Lono HYPE is a cross-training barefoot shoe designed for athletes who want a stable, flexible barefoot training shoe, the HYPE is particularly suited to strength training, functional fitness, gym workouts, HYROX events, CrossFit, HIIT, powerlifting, and kettlebell sessions. The reinforced toe, lateral TPU support, high side wall, and multi-directional rubber grip make it purpose-built for training environments where stability, traction, and controlled movement matter. Key Features HYPE Double-Knitted Mesh – Performance mesh and abrasion-resistant reinforced knit balance durability, breathability, and freedom of movement. TPU Lateral Support – Adds structural support along the sides of the shoe for demanding training movements. Reinforced TPU Toe – Provides added protection at the front of the shoe during gym and training sessions. Mega-Grip Rubber Outsole – Uses a high-traction rubber compound with an all-dimensional ribbed pattern for multi-directional grip. 40mm High Side Wall – Provides additional lateral structure around the outsole for demanding training use. Double Flex Divots – Strategic outsole divots are designed to promote bending and flex through the shoe. Biodegradable EVA Midsole & Insole – Uses 2mm biodegradable EVA in both the midsole and insole for a thin, low-profile underfoot platform.
