Dose and headspace: If your basket is already filled close to capacity, reduce your usual dose by approximately 0.5–1 g as needed. The portafilter should lock into the grouphead normally, without the puck screen being pressed firmly against the shower screen. NOTE: The included removal pin contains a magnet, allowing the screen to be lifted easily from the puck after brewing without touching hot metal. Stainless steel has different magnetism levels. Food Safe steel (SAE 304) products usually have lower magnetism levels. Thus, magnetic pin might work slightly different with other pucks or surfaces.
