Wet the fabric, squeeze out excess water and put it on your pet. Re-wet as needed throughout the day. How long does it last? The cooling effect can be felt for up to a few hours. Effectiveness depends on temperature, weather conditions and environmental factors. Generally, the evaporative cooling process performs best in hot and dry climates away from direct sunlight. High-humidity environments may hinder evaporation and limit the desired effect. How do I know when to re-wet?
