Sika Stixall Ultra

Sika Stixall Ultra is the ultra flexible, high grab adhesive and sealant which can be used in food preperation areas - tested according to EN1186-13:2002. Certified to the harmonised European standard for sealants for facade and sanitary use, whilst meeting the toughest emissions classification EMICODE EC1 plus. Sika Stixall Ultra is quick curing, exceptionally strong and has the ability to bond almost everything to anything in virtually any conditions, even underwater or in the rain. Areas of use Interior & exterior use Excellent primerless adhesion to most surfaces including metals, most plastics, mirrors, glass, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, polyester,perspex, wood, cladding panels, enamel, fibreglass, painted surfaces & much more. Sika Stixall Ultra even sticks underwater. Application AS AN ADHESIVE. All surfaces to be bonded must be sound and clean. Apply using a standard sealant gun, cut tip of cartridge, attach nozzle and cut an opening to suit the required bead size. Apply adhesive direct to the back of one surface only in lines spaced at 30-40mm centres. For heavy items, also apply adhesive all the way around the edge of the item (30-50mm from the edge). Where gap filling is required, mark the areas where there is a large gap and apply a thicker bead to these areas. Immediately place item into position and secure with good, even pressure and with a slight twist action. With heavy items, always provide temporary support until the adhesive dries. AS A SEALANT. Open tube as above to a size slightly larger than the gap to be sealed. Best results will be obtained by keeping an even pressure on the trigger and keeping the gun at a constant angle to the surface being sealed. The ensure a proper bond, always smooth the sealant down with a spatula or piece of wood wetted with slightly soapy water. An improved joint appearanace can be achieved by placing masking tape to both sides of the joint, removing within 5 minutes of application. Coverage Approx 10.5 linear metres for a 6mm bead
