Welcome to Night Vale, a small desert town where the friendly voice of the community radio station keeps everyone up-to-date on local news, like the Forbidden Dog Park (no dogs or humans allowed) or the hooded figures often seen in Grove Park. The radio is a comforting companion while the dry, smoky breeze blows across the desert under a dark sky that is nearly empty except the distant stars, and the terrible moon, and the unidentified hovering lights, and the government helicopters monitoring our activity.
