Friml, Rudolf - Large Letter and Document Archive
Czech-born American composer and pianist (1879-1972), better known for his Broadway operettas. Large archive consisting mostly of correspondence sent to his friend and lyricist, Dailey Paskman (1897-1979). The archive includes over a hundred letters, many signed by him as Rudolf, and over 60 postcards signed by him. Many of the letters have interesting musical content. Some are typed with different letterheads, many are handwritten. All in good to excellent condition. Sold as a collection only.
