Spring 2019 Roasted Ailao Oolong

Spring 2019, Qing Xin varietal grown at 2500m and above. Medium charcoal roast Pleasant bitterness, complex fragrance. Good balance between roasted and natural notes, the charcoal roasting really makes a difference here, it offers a more complex and nuanced profile than electric roasting. The tea soup dances around your mouth and goes down smoothly. A very entertaining tea that will keep you warm and enthusiastic. This tea comes from Ailao Mountain the middle of Yunnan. In 1994, Mr Huang, a taiwanese native, established oolong tea plantations, inside Ailao Mountain Nature Reserve. The plantations are managed organically and have been certified since their creation.
