Macphail's 21 years old 40%

An undisclosed distillery somewhere in the Spey valley was the birthplace of this whisky, matured in casks for 21 years that were specifically chosen by Gordon & MacPhail. A classic expression of sherry wood maturation, this whisky carries a rich fruityness, like that of classic fruit puddings, traditional Christmas mince and orange marmalade. The wood is fragrantly spiced and with a drying edge, like old tobacco boxes, carried on a mellow and gentle mouthfeel.
