Neoregelia ‘Big Mac Special’

Magnificent rosette of broad, leathery leaves which are closely stacked together in many layers and can grow up to 50 cm in diameter. The foliage is apple green with deep purple blotching which solidifies and covers much of the leaf surface as the plant matures. The inner leaves of the rosette turn deep purple at blooming. Lavender flowers are nestled in the centre cup of the plant. A slow grower but most definitely a “stand out” in the garden and a must for every collection. Perfect for adding a wonderful colour contrast in the garden. Care level: Easy We are currently offering offsets, which are rooted and approximately half the size of an adult plant. The plant is shipped bare root.
