Wine & Design | Dutch Still Life w/ Dahlias | Friday August 7th

The Still Life floral paintings of the Dutch Golden Era were dark, beautiful and sometimes morbidly introspective paintings, reflective of the culture and era in which they were created. We will highlight the season's Queen of the Garden, the beautiful and Diverse Dahlia and combine them with other seasonal blooms berries. During this 2.5 hr class, we will delve briefly into the historical influences on this style of floral design, creating elevated, floriferous designs reminiscent of these paintings. All while sipping delicious PNW wine.
