A hydraulic handbrake lets you initiate and hold a drift and pull authentic rally handbrake turns with progressive, real feel, which a button simply cannot replicate. A sequential shifter matches how modern rally and drift cars actually shift, giving you fast, deliberate up and down changes without taking a hand off the wheel for long. Together they are the difference between playing a rally game and driving a rally simulator. Is 12Nm of direct drive enough for drift and rally? Yes. A full 12Nm from the Simagic Alpha Evo is strong, fast direct drive with plenty of headroom for loose rally surfaces and rapid drift countersteer. More important than raw torque is the speed and detail of the force feedback, and the Alpha Evo excels there, clearly telegraphing grip, slip and surface changes so you can react in time. Can I use the shifter in H-pattern as well as sequential? Yes. The Simagic DS-8X is a dual-mode shifter. Run it in sequential mode for rally and drift, then switch to H-pattern for classic manual circuit racing or road cars. The included P1000 clutch pedal means you can do proper heel-toe and clutch work in H-pattern. Does this pack work on PlayStation or Xbox? No. The Simagic Alpha Evo base, Zeus wheel, P1000 pedals, TB-RS handbrake and DS-8X shifter are PC-only. Serious drift and rally simulation of this calibre, such as Assetto Corsa, EA SPORTS WRC and iRacing, is a PC platform, and direct-drive force feedback at this level is not supported on console. Is a PC included in the pack? No, a gaming PC is not included. This pack is the complete cockpit, controls, display mount and haptics, and connects to your own Windows gaming PC over USB and DisplayPort or HDMI. The Trak Racer TR120S V2 cockpit ships flat-packed for safe, cost-effective freight and requires assembly, with instructions included. The wheel base, pedals, handbrake, shifter and monitor then mount to the rig using the included Trak Racer TR-One hardware. It is a satisfying afternoon build, and we are on the phone if you need a hand. Is a monitor included, and what about the stand? The large cockpit-mounted monitor stand is included and fixes your display directly to the rig, so it moves with the cockpit and stays perfectly positioned, fitting screens up to 80 inches. The monitor itself is an optional add-on, so you can choose the screen size that suits you or use one you already own. We stock the 49-inch 165Hz DQHD super ultrawide that drops straight onto the stand if you want the full wraparound setup. What are bass shakers and do I need them? Bass shakers are tactile transducers that bolt to the rig and turn low-frequency game audio and telemetry into physical vibration, so you feel kerbs, surface changes, wheelspin and the moment grip breaks away. They are not essential, but for drift and rally they add a genuine layer of feedback that helps you sense the car, and the pack includes a full 200W kit. Can I customise or swap components in this pack? Yes. Every component can be swapped, upgraded or added to. Common changes include a different Simagic wheel from the Zeus range, a higher-torque wheel base, adding a second monitor or VR, or upgrading the seat.
