SPECTRUM Aqualyze Single System Large Diameter 20" with Complete Adaptor Kit – SFHS-1-20LD The SPECTRUM Aqualyze SFHS-1-20LD Single System is a high-capacity 20" Large Diameter filter housing designed for commercial, industrial and higher-flow water filtration applications. Supplied as a complete packaged system with the necessary installation and monitoring accessories, it provides a convenient single-stage filtration solution for targeting contaminants such as sediment, bulk solids or organics, depending on the cartridge selected. Designed specifically to accept 20" x 4.5" Large Diameter (LD) filter cartridges, the SFHS-1-20LD provides significantly greater cartridge capacity than conventional standard-diameter housings. The large-format design makes it particularly suitable for installations requiring higher flow rates, increased contaminant holding capacity and longer cartridge service life. The system features a 1" connection and can accommodate flow rates of up to 90 litres per minute when fitted with a suitable pleated cartridge. The SPECTRUM specification also identifies typical maximum flow rates of approximately 40 lpm for depth cartridges and 15.2 lpm for carbon cartridges, demonstrating the importance of selecting the appropriate cartridge for the required application and flow rate. Complete Adaptor Kit The SFHS-1-20LD is supplied with a complete adaptor kit, providing greater flexibility when integrating the housing into new or existing water treatment installations. For the 20LD configuration, the manufacturer's specification lists fittings to adapt the 1" housing connections to 22 mm or 28 mm pipework. Large Diameter Cartridge Compatibility This housing is only compatible with Large Diameter cartridges measuring approximately 20" long x 4.5" diameter. It is not designed for standard 2.5" diameter filter cartridges.
