The threading alternates dark and light, while the treadling alternates light weaving the upper layer and dark weaving the lower layer. The result is a rose-style Doubleweave pattern with the appearance of medallions. Three simple hand-stitched seams then convert the rectangle into an adjustable mini tote showcasing both layers of the Doubleweave fabric.
