You are imprisoned on a doomed starship, hearing the security forces being overwhelmed around you. As a last-ditch effort, the ship’s captain releases you, aware of your dangerous capabilities. Your mission is to fight the invading force and rescue as many innocent souls as possible before time runs out, possibly atoning for your past or seizing the chance to escape into the galaxy. Extraction is a 1-4 player cooperative game featuring an intense core game, scenario-based challenges, and single-player campaigns with unique level-up systems. With fluid mechanics, but high difficulty, the game challenges you to see how many can be rescued before the ship inevitably falls. At the start of the game, players roll three dice to determine their actions and use character cards to expand their abilities. They gain Adrenaline while running through the ship’s hallways, fighting enemies, and rescuing innocents. Adrenaline can be used for extra actions or leveling up, requiring strategic decisions on whether to act immediately or save for future benefits. Players draw unique Survivor Cards for each rescued person, granting temporary advantages and disadvantages. Victory is achieved by rescuing a set number of survivors, as saving the ship is never an option. The challenge: can you rescue enough people and escape in time?
