Adorable, characterful vintage mid-century novelty brooch circa 1940s/50s, in early plastic featuring a mischievous looking little red Scottie dog with expressive eyes, little black nose, protruding tongue, texured carved-effect fur and an oversized blue and white polka dot bow. Traditional metal pin fastening to the reverse. Made in Japan for the French market. measures approx 1 3/4" tall x 1.5" wide In great vintage shape, no issues to note.
