Tasting Notes Nose Burnt caramel, molasses, sweet rum, dark fruit, sultanas, demerara sugar, salty Dutch liquorice and a herbaceous note. Palate Spicey, dryish, then sweetness followed by more dryness. Sour plum and tobacco notes come in late after exposer to an incredibly complex and well-balanced integration that unfolds in your mouth. Finish Initially dry, followed by sweetness, more dryness and red raspberry lollies followed by confectionary notes in the home strait. Provenance 46% ABV 5YO tawny and apera casks, American and French Oak Comment This dram benefits from a few drops of water that manifest themselves as a bombardment of flavour ricocheting around your mouth. It is simple enough to provide a thoroughly enjoyable experience for novice drinker, but complex enough for a challenging journey with ample rewards for the whisky nerds.
