More About The Winery Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere is a Cru Classe de Graves in the Pessac-Leognan appellation, classified for both its red and white wines in 1953 and 1959. The Bonnie family acquired the estate in 1997 and undertook a major programme of vineyard expansion and investment, working with consulting oenologist Michel Rolland, growing the vineyard from 19 to 53 hectares. The property, whose name draws on the Comte de Malartic's naval history, is regarded today as one of the more consistent and refined addresses in Pessac-Leognan.
