RAAK-Style Floor Lamp

A striking vintage floor lamp in the style of Dutch lighting company RAAK, dating to the 1970s. Featuring a large spherical glass shade with a mirrored chrome-effect finish across the lower half and clear glass above, revealing the light source within. The globe rests on a tall, slender black metal column with a circular base. The mirrored surface creates interesting reflections of its surroundings, while the exposed light gives off a warm glow when illuminated. A fantastic example of the space-age design popular during the 1970s, with a sculptural presence that works equally well switched on or off. 130mm tall; 300mm diameter
