Aromas of blackcurrant jam, leather, raisins, sticky dates, maraschino cherries, malted bread and dark chocolate fill the nose, complemented by notes of plum compote, raisins, charcoal, glazed cherries, gentle oak spice, licorice, dark chocolate, ginger cake, crystallized ginger and sticky jam on the palate, persistent in the finish.
