The strips run lengthwise, so the walnut grain flows from one end to the other. The logo is engraved in one corner. Why it costs more than a grocery store board Thickness. You can also pick it up in Val-d'Or. Care Wash it by hand with warm water and mild soap, then dry it right away. Never in the dishwasher. It ships already oiled and waxed. Rub in some food-grade mineral oil from time to time. It feeds the wood and keeps it from cracking. Do it more often at first, then a few times a year. What it's for Cutting, chopping, slicing. It also makes a great serving board for charcuterie or cheese, and plenty of people just leave it out on the counter because it looks good.
