Simon Armitage 'Gilgamesh' Event Ticket

Join the Poet Laureate here at Salts on Sunday November 15th at 5pm for a very special talk in Gallery 3. Simon will be reading from and discussing his latest project – an exhilarating verse translation of the ancient epic poem Gilgamesh. Sir Anthony Gormley has illustrated a limited edition version of the book – Simon will show some of these illustrations during his talk. You won't receive a physical ticket for the talk - please bring your order email with you. Thank you! Each ticket includes a glass of wine or soft drink which will be served in Cafe in to the Opera after the talk. There will be a book signing after the talk where both the limited edition and the standard edition will be available to buy as well as many other titles by Mr. Armitage. Salts Diner will be open beforehand, with last food orders at 4pm and last drinks orders at 4:45pm, so you can have a very late lunch or a very early supper!
