AIC J2024-01 24-Bay 2.5" SAS/SATA JBOD, 2U Rackmount Storage Enclosure, 2U24SAS3 Single Expander, No Rails (Refurbished)

AIC J2024-01 — Single-Expander 24-Bay 2U JBOD Storage Enclosure (JBOD Only, No Rails) This AIC 2U 24-bay JBOD enclosure is an enterprise-grade, high-density storage expansion platform designed for scalable data center environments. Built on a SAS3 architecture with a modular expander design, it provides reliable, high-throughput external storage expansion without integrated RAID dependency. Please note: this unit ships without rack rails. Highlights Compact High-Density 2U Chassis: Supports up to 24 hot-swappable 2.5" SAS/SATA drives in a space-saving 2U rackmount form factor, ideal for dense data center deployments. SAS3 Single-Expander Architecture: Equipped with a SAS3x36R expander chip in a single-expander configuration, enabling efficient 12Gb/s SAS connectivity and high-bandwidth data routing across all drives via external SAS links. Flexible Drive Compatibility: Supports both SAS and SATA 2.5" (SFF) drives, with 12Gb and 6Gb SAS/SATA compatibility in single-expander mode; interposer kits are optional for expanded compatibility depending on drive type. JBOD-Only Operation: Functions purely as a JBOD enclosure with no built-in RAID controller, giving full control to the host system or external SAS HBA/RAID controller for storage configuration flexibility. Redundant Power Design: Includes dual hot-swappable 549W 80+ Platinum power supplies (1+1 redundant configuration), ensuring high efficiency, stable power delivery, and reduced downtime. Enterprise-Ready Reliability: Designed for continuous operation with hot-swappable drive bays, redundant power modules, high-airflow cooling via 2 × 6038 hot-swap fans, and integrated LED indicators with audible alarm support for system monitoring and alerts.
