The production strictly follows Wuyi's traditional charcoal-roasting technique. Processing is adapted to daily weather conditions during the green-making stage, with moderate rolling, and every step is tightly controlled. The tea undergoes a medium-slow charcoal roast, with the heat carefully managed by experienced master roasters throughout the process. This preserves the naturally vibrant floral and fruity aromas of Rou Gui while bringing forward the cultivar's signature sharp cassia-cinnamon character — achieving a perfectly balanced flavor profile. Yanjie · Rou Gui has undergone multiple rounds of anonymous screening, with professional tea tasters evaluating samples against five criteria: dry leaf appearance, liquor color, aroma, taste, and infused leaves. Through blind tasting, it was selected as the finest from hundreds of tea samples. The dry leaves are dark, lustrous, and tightly twisted. The liquor is bright orange-yellow, with charcoal fragrance underpinning rich cinnamon and fruity notes. On the palate, the tea opens with prominent floral notes, a full-bodied texture, and a pleasant spicy kick. The finish is long and sweet, with excellent brewing resistance — floral and milky notes linger in the cup even after multiple infusions. The packaging features a bold red-and-black color scheme, exuding sophistication and strong visual impact.
