LIMITED PRE-ORDER: For a short time, our handmade Journals are back. Long before we created Photo Albums, Guestbooks, Recipe Binders, Baby Books, and Custom Binders, there were Journals. More than 35 years ago, paper page Journals were the very first books we designed and bound by hand, and today we still craft them the same way in our Rhode Island bindery. This special pre-order is your opportunity to reserve one from a limited batch we're creating this summer. Choose your favorite cover material and color, add optional personalization, and we'll handcraft your Journal just for you. IMPORTANT DATES: Place your order by June 22nd. Your Journals will ship by July 22nd. MADE BY HAND: Each Journal is carefully bound in our Rhode Island bindery using traditional bookbinding techniques. Inside are 144 blank pages made from bright white vellum-finish paper with hand-cut deckle edges and hand-sewn signatures. The paper is substantial without feeling heavy and is well suited for writing, sketching, collage, ink, pencil, pen, and light watercolor washes. PERSONALIZATION: Add a name, date, or short message to the front cover with custom embossing. We use a classic Goudy typeface and can emboss up to 25 characters per line.
