The leather moves between lighter tan and deeper brown across the surface, giving it a more varied appearance than an evenly colored strap. The ends are stitched straight across, leaving that variation easy to see. We made Pewhl by hand in the USA using waxed linen thread and a polished stainless steel buckle. It's a substantial piece with a thicker profile, suited to someone who likes a little more leather on the wrist.
