A beautifully preserved example of a late 19th – early 20th century miniature oil lantern traditionally associated with ice skating and winter recreation before the widespread use of flashlights. Constructed primarily of brass with a clear glass molded globe and original burner. Remarkably straight and free of significant dents, this has a handsome original brass patina. 11” H x 6" W × 5" D
