TrueHome™ Sediment Pre-Filter Cartridges, 4.5 x 10-Inch, 5 Micron

TrueHome™ 4.5 x 10-Inch, 5-Micron Sediment Cartridges Reliable Sediment Filtration for Your Whole House Keep your whole-house water filtration system working effectively with TrueHome™ Sediment Filter Cartridges. Designed for standard 4.5" x 10" whole-house filter housings, this 5-micron nominal sediment cartridge provides an effective first stage of filtration for incoming water. The cartridge helps reduce suspended sediment such as rust, sand, silt, dirt, and other particulate matter before it reaches your home's plumbing and downstream water treatment equipment. Graded-Density Meltblown Filtration Constructed from 100% polypropylene using a meltblown manufacturing process, the cartridge features a graded-density construction for effective depth filtration. This allows particles to be trapped throughout the cartridge rather than relying solely on the outer surface. This design helps reduce surface blinding and provides effective sediment filtration throughout the cartridge. Designed for Standard 4.5" x 10" Filter Housings Sized for standard 4.5" x 10" sediment filter housings, including the TrueHome™ Whole House Sediment Pre-Filter System. It is compatible with standard 4.5" x 10" pre-filter housings, including the TrueHome™ 4.5" x 10" Whole House Sediment Pre-Filter System. Convenient Replacement Options Choose a 2-pack or 4-pack to keep replacement filters on hand for routine maintenance. Cartridge life varies depending on water quality, sediment levels, water usage, and other conditions. Replace the cartridge when it becomes heavily loaded with sediment or when water flow begins to decrease. Ideal for Whole-House Sediment Pre-Filtration Designed for residential and light commercial applications where sediment reduction is needed, this cartridge can be used as a pre-filter to help protect downstream filtration and water treatment equipment from sediment buildup.
