antique primitive wooden sled

An antique wooden sled dating to the late 19th, with a beautifully weathered natural finish, iron runners, and a removable wooden upper frame. The long, low silhouette is defined by broad wooden boards, upright supports, and exposed iron fittings, each bearing the marks of age and use. Its sculptural construction and soft, sun-faded wood tones bring an authentic sense of history to a thoughtfully layered interior. Particularly beautiful in a mountain retreat, rustic entryway, or country house, where its architectural form can be appreciated throughout the year. CONDITION In good antique condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wood shows weathering, cracks, and surface wear, with rust and patina on the iron hardware. The upper frame is removable. For decorative use. MEASUREMENTS Length 46 inch 116.8 cm Height 27 inch 68.6 cm Width 23 inch 58.4 cm SHIPPING Home delivery via a blanket wrap service.
