PLA OFF Black 3D Filament Meet TM3D PLA OFF Black, a more sustainable alternative to our standard black PLA filament. This filament is made from recycled PLA from our own production, giving reusable material a second life. When producing PLA OFF Black, we aim to get the color as close as possible to our regular PLA Black. However, because we use recycled material, the color can vary from one production batch to another. As a result, the filament may sometimes be deep black, but it can also have a dark gray or anthracite shade. This makes every production batch unique and allows us to reuse valuable raw materials. Available in 1.75 mm Features of PLA OFF Black 3D Filament Made from recycled PLA: By reprocessing PLA material, we reduce material waste and give existing raw materials a second life. Unique shades of black: We aim to keep the color as close to black as possible. However, using recycled PLA can result in color variations ranging from black to dark gray or anthracite. The exact color therefore cannot be guaranteed. Easy to print: Like regular PLA, PLA OFF Black is easy to use on most FDM 3D printers. The recommended printing temperature is between 190°C and 220°C. Good surface quality: The filament is suitable for detailed 3D prints, decorative models, and prototypes with a neat finish. Less warping: PLA naturally has relatively low shrinkage as it cools, reducing the risk of warping compared to materials such as ABS. Conscious material choice: By using recycled PLA, we help reduce plastic waste and use raw materials more efficiently.
