Havbris 2.0 Wool Half-Zip Base Layer Top, Moss Green

The Havbris Half Zip is the light layer. Thin, soft merino wool you wear on its own on mild days or next to the skin under a sweater when it’s cold. You open the zip at the neck on the uphill and close it when you stand still. The top is knitted using Brit’s knitting method – air knitted into every stitch, which keeps you warm. Brit Vinje Lyngstad invented the method in 1994 on the family farm at Lyngstad on Norway's harsh north-west coast, because Eilif came home wet and cold from the forest and farm. The method was tested by SINTEF in 1995, including on Svalbard at −23 °C. Wool can absorb a lot of moisture without feeling wet, so you stay warm even when you stop after being active. “Soft and just warm enough” – Anne M.B.
