Across 192 pages it presents ceramic work by Don Ed Hardy, Bryan Burk, Taka Cooper, Chris Garver, Dr. Lakra, Britton McFetridge, Adam Shrewsbury and Dan Sin. The two crafts have more in common than you might expect: both depend on strong line, bold motifs and decoration that has to wrap around a curved surface. Here that shows up as vases painted with black and white skulls by Dr. Lakra, bright birds on pottery by Bryan Burk, and plates carrying custom tattoo designs by Britton McFetridge, alongside dragons and other familiar tattoo subjects. A good choice for collectors who follow these artists, and for tattooers curious about carrying their designs into another medium.
