Measure the prepared bare soil you plan to treat. For spot repair, add together only the exposed patches. One jug covers 2,000 sq. ft. Prepare. Remove dead grass, competing vegetation, and debris. Loosen the exposed soil and rake the surface smooth. Shake. Use the shaker-spreader lid to distribute the premix evenly across the measured area. Press. Gently press the seed into contact with the soil. Water and care. Water gently to activate the binder. Keep the planting consistently moist during establishment. Measuring bare patches Add together the exposed soil areas you are treating. Use that combined area to plan coverage, rather than the size of your entire lawn. Overseeding an existing lawn?
