Seconds Sale Handmade Ceramic Dark Clay Oyster Bowl - Greens & Pinks

🥣 Handmade dark clay oyster bowl - rich black cone 6 midfire stoneware 📐 23 cm wide · 9 cm high 🎨 Brush-glazed in greens, pinks and amber Green and plum against dark clay, with amber running along the ruffled rim. The dark stoneware deepens the colours from the inside out, making the greens cooler and the pinks richer than they would read on a white body. Each bowl has its own pooling and layering across the wide, ruffled form. Hand formed from rich black cone 6 midfire stoneware, which deepens the glaze colours and gives the surface an earthy, grounded quality. No two bowls are exactly alike. Sold as seconds. This bowl has a crack in one of the folds of the rim, visible in the photos. Extra care is needed with a cracked piece: hand wash it, and avoid sudden changes in temperature.
